In plain words
The changes to MAYA you can see, newest first. Each says what is different for you and links to the page that explains it in full. Fixes you would not notice are not listed. A page changed in the last 30 days says Updated recently under its title.

Rules pages reorganised. The rules pages now open with What a rule is: what a rule is, the eight things it can look at, and which page to read next. Waits and what a rule counts after it acts have a page of their own, and the rules pages now link to one another instead of repeating long answers. Read What a rule is and After a rule acts: waits and counting (advanced).
Why this price?. Each room type on a day card has Why this price?, and so does each room type of a change in the Change Log and of a night in a rule's fire log. It shows the night's price, what is behind it, and the changes to it, newest first, with the rules on that room type and where each stands. Read Find out why a price changed.
Why didn't it fire?. Click the dash in the Fired column of a rule that hasn't fired, or Why didn't it fire? in a rule's fire log, to see for a night and room type whether it is on, what holds it back, and its last reading there. Show every check lists the checks it made, the ones that passed too. Read A rule did not fire (or fired when you did not expect it).
Try a rule on a week. The Rate Simulator has a Week view: seven of your own nights, each starting from your calendar, with a dot where your test rule acts. Open in rule builder fills in the rule builder with the test rule. In the docs, the rule playground tries a rule on a sample week without an account. Read The rule playground and Trying rules out in the Rate Simulator.
Four more things a rule can check. A rule can now look at the rooms left to sell, your current rate, the bookings that came in over the last few days and the average rate booked for the night, as well as occupancy, , and pickup. Rooms left isn't offered on Mews yet. Read Rooms left to sell, Current rate, Recent bookings (advanced) and Average rate booked, ADR (advanced).
Count bookings made together as one. Settings has a new Bookings section. Tick Count bookings made together as one, and 3 or more separate reservations for the same room type and dates, made within 3 hours of each other, count as one booking for booking speed. Under Advanced you choose how many bookings a group can count as. It starts unticked. Read Settings and Settings.
The days a rule will change, often ready when you save. While you fill in the rule builder, MAYA works out the days the rule will change, so the window that opens when you turn a rule on often has them straight away. Read Turning a rule on, Apply or Skip.
Repeating cuts on far-out nights, said up front. When a cut on low pickup is kept to nights far from arrival, the window that opens when you turn it on says how many nights it reaches and that the cut repeats while the night stays quiet. Read Turning a rule on, Apply or Skip.
See which rules a typed price pauses. Before you save a price you type, a line under the box names the rules whose changes saving will pause on those nights for that room type. Read Setting a price yourself.
Mews rooms counted from your spaces. On Mews, MAYA counts the rooms in each room category from your spaces in Mews, so occupancy and the rooms you pay for follow them. While two categories hold the same rooms, the count you pay for stays as it is, so no room is billed twice. Read Mews: what works today.
Fixed amounts in your own currency. Fixed amount raises and cuts show your property's currency in the rule builder, the Rate Simulator and the change log. Read The rule builder, field by field and The change log.
Clearer billing lines. Where the Billing page said Retrying payment until, it now says Current period ends. Once a subscription has been unpaid for more than 30 days, it says a new card won't restart it on its own: update the card, then email us. Read The billing page and Update your card.
The Rate Simulator checks a test rule first. It won't try or save a test rule while a condition's value box is empty or below zero, and outlines the empty box in red. Read Trying rules out in the Rate Simulator.
Tell us what a docs page is missing. Under "Was this page helpful?" at the foot of every docs page, Yes or No now opens a box for a short note, sent with Send. Read About these docs and the docs helper.
The docs use your own property. Signed in, the docs open on your own property system's tab, a few quoted messages name one of your room types with its own floor and ceiling, and some pages say what your role can do there. Read About these docs and the docs helper.
Help opens beside the screen. The docs link in a ? panel, and the new ? on each change log item, now open the docs passage in a panel at the side of the screen, so what you were doing stays as it was. Open full page opens it in a new tab. Read About these docs and the docs helper and The change log.

See what going live would send, and choose how to start. While you simulate on Cloudbeds or ThinkReservations, a dot marks each night where MAYA's price differs from your system's, and the day detail shows what MAYA would send. When you go live you can start from your current rates, so your rules act only on what newly becomes true, or send MAYA's prices straight away. Read Going live and The calendar.
A rule can't cut a price by 100% or more. The rule builder says so under the percent box as you type, and the rule won't save until the cut is smaller. Read The rule builder, field by field.

Clearer checkout. The checkout screen says exactly how long a code's discount lasts. If you change the room count, the period or the code, the payment page you opened before is closed, so there is only ever one to pay. Read Setting up payment and Codes and the free trial.
Only a General Manager or Hotel Admin decides what counts as a room. Ticking or unticking Counts as a room, and answering the review's question about it, now takes a General Manager or Hotel Admin. Everyone else sees the boxes as saved, greyed out. Read Room types and rooms out of service and Roles: who can do what.

Clearer roles. The Team page lists what each role can't do, and a property always keeps at least one Hotel Admin. Read Roles: who can do what.
Try MAYA on a demo property. We now send demos to people on the waitlist: a made-up lodge of their own, with bookings, where you can build rules, add bookings and read the change log. Nothing is sent anywhere. Read The demo property.
A rough estimate under the change log. A line at the foot of the change log gives a rough estimate of what MAYA's prices added, with how it is worked out behind its ?. Read The change log.

Longer pickup lookbacks. A rule can now look back 14 or 30 days, as well as 1, 3 or 7. Read Pickup count (advanced).

Switch between monthly and yearly yourself. The Billing page has the switch, with the new price to confirm before anything changes. A trial you are on is kept. Read The billing page.
