In plain words
Type the price you want for the night on the Calendar tab, or delete the rule to undo everything it did on every night. Switching a rule off undoes nothing. On Mews, change the rate in Mews itself, because MAYA does not send prices to Mews yet.
Type the price you want (one night, right now)
- 1
Open the night
Go to the Calendar tab and click the night. One card per room type appears under the grid.
- 2
Type the price
In the room type's box, type the price you want. To cover several nights, click through… and pick the last night.
- 3
Save
Press Enter or click Save. The line under the box says what happens next, for example "Saved. Sending to Cloudbeds now." (with your system's name). Rules that had already moved that night are paused for that room type.
Your number becomes that night's starting point. Rules that fire later still stack on top of it, so this is a correction, not a lock. If a rule keeps adjusting the night, the amber banner asks you once three of its changes are on the night, and you can answer Stop for this night. To hand the night back to MAYA afterwards, click Clear.
When you are live, your price is sent to Cloudbeds straight away, or with the next run about five minutes later. A night more than 395 nights ahead is sent when it enters the 396-night window (tonight and the next 395). When every night you saved is that far out, the line reads "Saved. It will be sent when the date enters the 396-day push window." In simulation nothing is sent.
When you are live, your price is sent to ThinkReservations straight away, or with the next run about five minutes later. A night more than 395 nights ahead is sent when it enters the 396-night window (tonight and the next 395). When every night you saved is that far out, the line reads "Saved. It will be sent when the date enters the 396-day push window." In simulation nothing is sent.
MAYA does not send prices to Mews yet, live or not. Your typed price shows in MAYA, on the calendar and in the change log, and nothing reaches Mews. On a live Mews property the line under the box reads "Saved. MAYA doesn't send prices to Mews yet." To change the rate guests see, change it in Mews itself.
Setting a price needs Revenue Manager access or higher. A price under the room type's floor or over its ceiling is refused, except 0, which makes the night a . A 0 is never sent to your system, so set that night to 0 there yourself.
Delete the rule (every night it touched)
- 1
Find the rule
On the Rules tab, find the rule in the list and click Delete at the end of its row.
- 2
Confirm
A dialog asks "Delete "Busy nights"?" and explains that deleting also undoes the price changes it has already made. Click Delete Rule and Undo Its Changes.
From the next run, about five minutes away, nearest nights first, every night the rule adjusted goes back to what its price would be if the rule had never run. If you are live on Cloudbeds or ThinkReservations, the changed prices are sent, and a night more than 395 nights ahead goes when it enters the window. Nothing is sent to Mews. The rule's old entries stay in the change log under its name. Entries from before October 2026 call it "Pricing rule" (Rules you change or delete).
Stop the rule on that night
When three of a or pickup rule's changes are on the same night, an amber banner at the top of the app asks what to do. Stop for this night means the rule makes no more changes there. It does not put the price back: what the rule already did stays, unless its undo box is ticked and cancellations mean the rule is no longer true. Pair it with a typed price if you want a particular number.
The banner only appears at three changes. Before that, a typed price resets the night to your number, but it does not hold it there. Your price starts the rule's wait again (the days it leaves a night alone). Once the wait is over, the rule can move the price again. To keep your number, switch the rule Off on the Rules tab, which stops it on every night, not only this one.
What comes off by itself
Some changes undo themselves, so check the change log before you act.
- A (no or condition) takes its change off the moment its condition stops holding. With its undo box ticked, as it is on every new rule, a cancellation that drops a night under the mark takes the raise off.
- A booking speed or pickup rule's change comes off when its undo box is ticked and cancellations mean the rule is no longer true. If bookings made since keep the rule true, the change stays.
- A cut made because a night was booking slowly never comes off this way, because cancellations only make the rule truer.
- With the undo box unticked, cancellations usually leave a change on. Read When a price change comes off.
