Add a second property

5 min readHow do I...Updated October 8, 2026

In plain words

For a Cloudbeds property, click Connect App on MAYA in that property's Cloudbeds Marketplace. On MAYA's page, click Sign in, use your existing account and pay for the property on its own payment screen. You land on your dashboard, where the Property dropdown switches between properties, each with its own subscription, rules and team. For ThinkReservations or Mews, email us.

Add a Cloudbeds property

  1. 1

Connect from that property's Cloudbeds account

Signed in to Cloudbeds for the second property, open Marketplace, find MAYA and click Connect App. Approve what Cloudbeds asks.

  2. 2

Sign in to your existing MAYA account

Cloudbeds sends you to MAYA's sign-in page, which opens on "Create your MAYA account" with the line "Your Cloudbeds property is connected." Instead, click Sign in under the form and sign in as usual. The property attaches to your account with you as its Hotel Admin. The hand-over link lasts 24 hours.

  3. 3

    Pay for it

The payment screen for that property appears, headed with its name and "is connected", with the 7-day free trial. It is its own subscription at its own bracket. If your first property also came from the Cloudbeds Marketplace, Stripe's page offers the card you paid for it with. Otherwise you type your card in again.

  4. 4

    Switch to it

After payment you land on your dashboard. Look at the Property dropdown to the right of the tabs. If it shows your first property, pick the new one. The dashboard, the review and the setup questions all work on the property the dropdown shows.

  5. 5

    Review and go live

MAYA starts reading the new property's history before you pay and carries on in the background. When there is something to check, a blue banner under the tabs ends with the link Review →. The banner is checked when the page loads and again when you switch property, not on a timer, so reload the page if it has not appeared yet. The review is also always at maya-rms.com/onboarding/review. The property starts in simulation like the first, and the amber strip at the top says so while it is the one chosen in the Property dropdown. A General Manager or Hotel Admin takes it live with that strip's Go live button.

The review has no Go live. If MAYA built for the property (about 60 days of history), the review ends with Keep them or Remove them and start with a clean slate, and either takes you to the dashboard, where the strip's button is. Read Your starter rules.

If you chose Hold My Hand or Let Me Drive for your first property, that choice carries over. Your choice is saved with your login, so you are asked once, not again for each property. The five setup questions are not asked for the new property either. To answer them, pick it in the Property dropdown and open maya-rms.com/onboarding/questions. If your login has never made the choice (you joined your first property by invitation, say), it appears after payment.

If one Cloudbeds login covers several properties, one Connect App connects them all. They line up for payment one at a time, headed "Property 2 of 3", with a Not now link to set one aside. Set-aside properties wait under "Properties not set up yet" on the Billing page with a Set up button.

Self-serve as above. Groups are only connected through the Cloudbeds Marketplace. Connecting from inside MAYA with a login that covers several properties is refused with a message that MAYA signs one property up at a time.

What is shared and what is not

  • Shared: your login. One email and password reach every property you belong to. Your role can differ per property. The Hold My Hand or Let Me Drive choice is made once per login too.
  • Per property: the subscription and its bracket (brackets are never pooled), the trial, the code, the rules, floors and ceilings, room type answers, , simulation or live state, and the team. Invite a colleague from each property's Team page.
  • Switching: the Property dropdown to the right of the tabs lists your active properties by name. The dropdown opens on the property you used last in that browser. After you sign out, it opens on the first property in alphabetical order.
