In plain words
Open the night on the Calendar tab and click Clear on the room type card. The line reads "Cleared. Your rules price this night again." Your rules price the night again straight away. (rules with no or condition) pick up where they were. Booking speed and pickup raises or cuts that your price took off stay off. Clear also ends the wait your price started for those rules, so they can act again as soon as their condition holds, unless one is still waiting from an earlier raise or cut that cancellations took off. It works the same for a price you typed and for a rate you changed in your property system that MAYA kept.
Clear the night
- 1
Open the night
Go to the Calendar tab and click the night. A room type with a price you set shows a badge on its card: "Manual · $250.00" for a price typed in MAYA, or "Changed in Cloudbeds · $250.00" for a rate you changed in your system. On ThinkReservations that badge reads "Changed in Think Reservations". On Mews you only see "Manual", because nothing is sent to Mews.

Cover a range if you set one
Clear covers what the card shows: the night you opened, or the night through the date in the through… box when one is set, as it still is right after you save a run of nights. Click × beside that date to clear only the night you opened. To clear a run you saved earlier, click through… again, pick the same last night, then Clear. The line reads "Cleared 3 nights. Your rules price them again."

Click Clear
Clear only appears while a price is open on that night. Click it. MAYA re-prices the night at once. When you are live, a changed price goes to Cloudbeds or ThinkReservations on the next cycle, within about five minutes. A night more than 395 nights ahead goes when it enters the 396-night window. Nothing is sent to Mews yet.
Clearing needs Revenue Manager access or higher.
A night that has passed has no Clear: your rules never price a past night again, so there is nothing to hand back. If the night passes while the calendar is open, the line reads "This night has passed, so there is nothing to clear."
What Clear does to the rules that were paused
When you typed the price, rules already on the night were paused for that room type. Clear lets them back in, with one difference between the two kinds of rule.
- A (one without a or condition) that was holding a change keeps its place and moves the price again straight away, if its condition still holds.
- A booking speed or pickup rule's earlier change stays off. While your price was on, the rule waited from the day you typed it. Clear ends that wait, and the changes your price took off never shorten what the rule counts. So the rule can act again as soon as its condition holds, on the price MAYA now works out, unless it is still waiting from an earlier raise or cut that cancellations took off (that wait runs on from the change that came off). A booking speed or pickup change made after you typed stays on, and the rules wait and count from it as usual.
MAYA's own starting point for the night comes back: the rate it read from Cloudbeds or ThinkReservations (on a night MAYA has already sent to, the rate it read there before its first send). A night your system has no rate for is left unpriced after the clear. If MAYA had already sent your typed price there, that price stays in Cloudbeds or ThinkReservations and shows as the night's price, and MAYA doesn't price or send the night again until you change or load a rate there yourself. MAYA does not read rates from Mews, so a cleared Mews night stays unpriced until you type a price again.
